There are several reasons why one would suspect that Paybox.me is a scam. Upon sign up, you receive $25 in your paybox account and you get an additional $10 each time you successfully refer a new person to join.

According to the Paybox.me website, you can have the following when you join paybox:

You start with $25 in your PayBox account and it's free.
PayBox will add up to $20 per day to your account for participating as paybox prepares to launch our new service.
You get $10 per person you refer to PayBox.
You could have hundreds or thousands of dollars in your account by the time paybox launches, without ever making a deposit.

What is paybox.me?

According to its website,

PayBox is developing a private virtual currency and payment processing service to make real-world buying and selling online easier, more secure and available to everyone.

We're designing our service with the help of a dedicated group of EarlyBird users who are contributing ideas and feedback.

Paybox.me scam?
We do sure hope that paybox.me is not a scam. Unfortunately, its claim to easy money is just too good to be true. If one person can have hundreds or thousands of dollars in their paybox account, and of course many people would want that, how is paybox going to pay all these people?

If it's going to pay, it's likely that paybox.me intends to pay with virtual currency. Afterall, this is what their product/service is all about: private virtual currency and payment processing service. The thing is, people want to spend those paybox money they received for real products and services.

Paybox.me can make this happen if its investors have pooled enough capital. If it isn't the case, the paybox dollar is just an over hyped play money.

You can still join if you want, it's free anyway and you don't lose anything: only your time signing up and persuading others to join :-)
